The top five, starting from the highest, are Indragiri Hulu, Balikpapan City, Purwakarta, Central Halmahera, and Tarakan City, with ratios of 281.47 percent, 245.65 percent, 217.1 percent, 134.49 percent, and 131.95 percent, respectively.
Indragiri Hulu ranks first. With a population of 453,480, the weekly percentage of people tested here was recorded at 281.47 percent. The latest positive rate is 0 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is Balikpapan City. The population in this region is recorded at 649,420. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly percentage of people tested was 245.65 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 0.25 percent, or an increase compared to the previous week's ratio.
Furthermore, Purwakarta recorded 217.1 percent testing, Central Halmahera 134.49 percent, and Tarakan City 131.95 percent.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, there are 108 regencies/cities in Indonesia that actively report a higher weekly percentage of people tested than before. Meanwhile, 217 other regencies/cities recorded a lower weekly percentage of people tested compared to the previous week.
