Several districts/cities in South Kalimantan province still record a relatively low second-dose vaccination rate compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, Banjar Regency, and Barito Kuala Regency.
As of yesterday's data, in the vaccination program, these three regencies have only completed 301,170 second doses out of the expected target of 891,350 vaccine recipients.
Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region only reached 32.02%. This is the lowest compared to the other 13 districts/cities. Meanwhile, the first-dose vaccination has reached 77.85%, or 230,070 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this regency targets 204,400 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in Hulu Sungai Tengah last week was 2,029 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 25,462 doses.
Next is Banjar Regency. For the second dose, this regency has the second-lowest rate. With a target of 442,250 vaccine recipients, only 32.33% or 142,990 recipients have been vaccinated.
The first-dose vaccination has reached 76.74%, or 493,230 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in Banjar last week was 12,313 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 17,996 doses.
Lastly, Barito Kuala Regency is ranked third. With a target of 244,700 vaccine recipients, only 37.9% or 92,729 recipients have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in Barito Kuala last week was 4,332 participants. The currently available vaccine stock is 142,920 doses.
Regarding the provincial-level vaccination achievement, the total first-dose vaccination in South Kalimantan has reached 85.5%, or 2.7 million vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination has reached 48.82%, covering 1.54 million vaccine recipients.
