Java Island is the epicenter of Covid-19. Reports from the Covid-19 Handling Task Force show that the majority of national Covid-19 cases originate from this region.
The massive spread of the coronavirus on Java Island should be countered with efforts to increase third-dose vaccinations, or boosters, to prevent severe infection if infected with Covid-19. So, how is the booster vaccine program progressing in this region?
Based on data from the Ministry of Health, the number of booster vaccine recipients in Indonesia has reached 61.13 million people as of 12:00 WIB (Western Indonesian Time) on September 8, 2022.
