Several districts/cities in West Java province still record a relatively low second-dose vaccination rate compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Majalengka Regency, Subang Regency, and Ciamis Regency.
As of today, in the vaccination program, these three regencies have only completed 2.52 million second doses out of the expected target of 3.33 million vaccine recipients.
Majalengka Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region has reached 75.17%. This is the lowest compared to the other 27 districts/cities. As for the first dose, 92.42% has been achieved today, or 1.89 million vaccine recipients.
This district/city's vaccination program targets 1.05 million participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Majalengka was 3,597 participants. The current vaccine stock is 17,242 doses.
Next is Subang Regency. For the second dose, this area has the second-lowest rate. With a target of 1.29 million vaccine recipients, 75.85% or 974,800 recipients have been vaccinated.
The first dose has reached 96.72%, or 2.47 million vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Subang was 5,325 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is 51,251 doses.
Lastly, Ciamis Regency is ranked third. With a target of 998,030 vaccine recipients, 75.94% or 757,910 recipients have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Ciamis was 2,449 participants. The currently available vaccine stock is 39,185 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination in West Java has reached 85.95%, or 36.62 million vaccine recipients. The second dose has reached 74.58%, covering 31.78 million vaccine recipients.
