For the third time this week, Friday, October 15, 2021, the addition of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia recorded an increase of less than 1,000 per day. The total increase from the top 10 provinces was only 597 cases (65%). The remaining increase in the other 24 provinces was reported as 318 cases (35%).
DKI Jakarta recorded the highest increase in Covid-19 cases with 124 cases, higher than any other province.
The next five provinces with the highest increases were Central Java with 86 cases, West Java with 85 cases, East Java with 81 cases, and West Kalimantan with 42 cases.
Today, 20 provinces recorded a decrease in the number of cases, while 11 other provinces experienced an increase. One province, Maluku, did not report any new cases today.
Meanwhile, from 19,852 active cases yesterday, the number of patients declared recovered today increased by 1,408, and the number of deaths increased by 41.

During the pandemic, the cumulative number of positive Covid-19 cases in Indonesia has reached 4.23 million. The current number of active cases is 19,318, a decrease from 19,852 the previous day.
According to the Ministry of Health, 4.07 million people have recovered from Covid-19, and a total of 142,890 deaths have been reported.
