The five regencies/cities with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19, exceeding 0.28 per 100,000 population per week, are Tomohon City (0.89 per 100,000 population per week), Salatiga City (0.49 per 100,000 population per week), Banda Aceh City (0.35 per 100,000 population per week), Palangkaraya City (0.33 per 100,000 population per week), and Maros Regency (0.28 per 100,000 population per week).
National Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 in most regencies/cities outside Java. Four regencies/cities recorded a higher daily agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 than previously, while one regency/city recorded a lower rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 include Tomohon City (0.89 per 100,000 population per week), Banda Aceh City (0.35 per 100,000 population per week), and Palangkaraya City (0.33 per 100,000 population per week).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
