The top five, starting with the highest number of people tested per 1,000 people per week, are Lamongan (11.45 people), Supiori (9.31 people), South Jakarta (9.27 people), Badung (9.18 people), and Balikpapan (9.18 people).
Lamongan ranks first, with 11.45 people tested per 1,000 people per week. The latest positive rate is 0.01 percent. The positive rate in this region increased compared to the previous week.
Next is Supiori. The region's population is 21,170. In efforts to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, 9.31 people per 1,000 people per week were tested. The positive rate in this region is 1.02 percent, also higher than the previous week's ratio.
Following this, South Jakarta recorded 9.27 people tested per 1,000 people per week, Badung 9.18 people per 1,000 people per week, and Balikpapan also 9.18 people per 1,000 people per week.
In anticipation of the Omicron impact in various regions, based on national Covid-19 data, 53 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported a higher number of daily tests than before. Meanwhile, 329 other regencies/cities recorded a lower number of tests compared to the previous week.
