The Indonesian Ministry of Health reported that 69.08 million doses of booster vaccines had been administered in Indonesia as of Thursday, July 13, 2023. This figure represents 38.05 percent of the national COVID-19 vaccination target. The national COVID-19 vaccination target is recorded at 234.66 million doses.
Based on province, West Java still holds the top position nationally with the highest number of booster vaccine recipients, reaching 15.51 million doses. Within West Java, Bogor Regency has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients with 1.6 million doses. Following are Bandung Regency (1.1 million doses), Bekasi City (982,280 doses), Bekasi Regency (970,850 doses), Cianjur Regency (913,390 doses), and Bandung City (901,370 doses).
East Java is in second place nationally with 9.45 million booster vaccine doses administered. Within East Java, Surabaya City has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients, with 1.32 million doses.
Central Java is in third place with 8.64 million booster vaccine doses administered. This is followed by Jakarta, North Sumatra, and Banten, with 5.37 million, 4.21 million, and 3.01 million booster vaccine doses administered respectively.
