Today's COVID-19 Provincial Data Update: Jakarta Records Highest Increase (Friday, July 8, 2022)

Indonesia today recorded an additional 2,472 Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 6.11 million as of Friday, July 8, 2022. The five provinces with the highest number of new cases today are DKI Jakarta, West Java, Banten, East Java, and Bali.

1. DKI Jakarta recorded an additional 1,153 cases

DKI Jakarta is ranked first. The increase in cases here is recorded at 1,153 cases, or a 0.09 percent increase compared to the previous day's cumulative total, which has reached 1.28 million. With this addition, the total number of cases in DKI Jakarta is now 1.28 million.
