Several districts/cities in East Java province still record a relatively low level of second dose vaccination compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Pamekasan Regency, Bangkalan Regency, and Lumajang Regency.
As of yesterday, in implementing the vaccination program, these three regencies have only completed 1.23 million doses for the second dose vaccination out of the expected target of 2.36 million vaccine participants.
Pamekasan Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, for the second dose vaccination, this region has only recorded 33.58 percent. This figure is the lowest compared to the other 38 districts/cities. Meanwhile, for the first dose achievement, as of yesterday, 72.97 percent has been achieved, or 718,070 vaccine participants.
This district/city's vaccination program is planned to target 652,820 participants. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average vaccination last week in Pamekasan was 862 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 42,030 doses.
Next is Bangkalan Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this area is ranked second lowest. With a vaccine target of 825,180 participants, 58.79 percent or 485,100 participants have been successfully vaccinated.
The first dose achievement is recorded at 77.36 percent, or 1.14 million vaccine participants. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average vaccination last week in Bangkalan was 1,987 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 60,420 doses.
Another is Lumajang Regency, ranked third. With a vaccine target of 880,790 participants, 59.73 percent or 526,090 participants have been successfully vaccinated for the second dose. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average vaccination last week in Lumajang was 1,909 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 36,250 doses.
Regarding vaccination achievement at the provincial level, total first dose vaccination in East Java has reached 85.2 percent, or 30.11 million vaccine participants. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination is recorded at 73.025 percent, reaching 25.81 million vaccine participants.
