The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least one regency/city has a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 2.11 percent. This average is higher than last week's 2.1 percent, based on data from Thursday, March 30, 2023.
The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 29.21 percent, are Fakfak (100 percent), Muna (52.5 percent), Manggarai Timur (37.5 percent), Bima (32.65 percent), and Tanjung Pinang City (29.21 percent).
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 31 regencies/cities, while 43 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak (100 percent), Muna (52.5 percent), and Manggarai Timur (37.5 percent).
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
