The same situation is occurring in Mojokerto City, which recorded 1.88 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people. In this regency, the number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases is also higher than the previous week's 0.97 per 100,000 people per week. Lamongan follows, with 1.88 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people in this East Java regency.
Sidoarjo and Surabaya City are next, with 1.88 and 1.88 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people, respectively.
Nationally, the average number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases across the 34 provinces is currently on an upward trend compared to the previous week's figure of 0.31 per 100,000 people per week.
