Several districts/cities in East Kalimantan province still record a relatively low second dose vaccination rate compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Kutai Kartanegara Regency, Mahakam Ulu Regency, and Paser Regency.
As of yesterday's data, these three regions have only completed 596,000 second doses out of the expected target of 783,310 vaccine recipients.
Kutai Kartanegara Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, the second dose vaccination rate in this region has reached 75.32 percent, the lowest among the other 10 districts/cities. Meanwhile, the first dose has reached 93 percent, or 1 million vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this district/city targets 548,230 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in Kutai Kartanegara last week was 4,222 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 44,526 doses.
Next is Mahakam Ulu Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this region has the second lowest rate. With a target of 25,524 vaccine recipients, 76.33 percent or 19,482 recipients have been vaccinated.
The first dose achievement is recorded at 97.7 percent, or 51,005 vaccine recipients.
Paser Regency is ranked third. With a target of 209,560 vaccine recipients, 78.08 percent or 163,620 recipients have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in Paser last week was 1,017 participants. The available vaccine stock is currently 75,136 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in East Kalimantan has reached 90.72 percent, or 2.96 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 79.7 percent, covering 2.6 million vaccine recipients.
