National COVID-19 vaccination as of Wednesday, August 31, 2022, has reached 376.62 million doses. This includes 203.37 million doses of the first dose, 170.97 million doses of the second dose, and 2.28 million doses for the community-based vaccination program (gotong royong).
A total of 2.04 million healthcare workers have received the first dose, or 138.58% of the target. 1.98 million healthcare workers have received the second dose, or 135.12% of the target. For healthcare workers, the government also recommends a third dose, which has been administered to [number] healthcare workers, or [percentage]% of the target. For public sector workers, 18.36 million people have received the first dose, or 105.98% of the target. Of this number, 16.81 million people, or 96.99% of the target, have received the second dose.
In the first phase, the government also prioritized elderly individuals. However, to date, only 18.24 million, or 84.62% of the target, have received the first dose. 14.85 million, or 68.89% of the target, have received the second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vaccination for vulnerable and general population groups. For this group, 116.39 million people, or 82.43% of the target, have received the first dose. 96.66 million, or 68.45% of the target, have received the second dose.
Another target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years. A total of 25.56 million people in this group have received the first dose, or 95.7% of the target. Of this number, 22.09 million people, or 82.72% of the target, have received the second dose.
