The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 79 regencies/cities with a weekly agglomeration of confirmed positive Covid-19 cases above the national average, currently recorded at 0.98 per 100,000 population/week (data as of Wednesday, June 22, 2022).

A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in confirmed positive cases in most regencies/cities outside Java. Thirty-three regencies/cities recorded higher daily confirmed positive cases than before, while 13 regencies/cities recorded lower confirmed positive cases.
Areas outside Java with the highest confirmed positive cases include Teluk Bintuni, South Sorong, and Karangasem, with confirmed positive cases of 8.68, 7.88, and 6.13 per 100,000 population/week respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
