The top five, starting from the highest percentage of people tested per week, are Balikpapan City (242.86%), Kutai Kartanegara (175.85%), Purwakarta (154.33%), Banjarbaru City (130%), and Tarakan City (106.02%).
Balikpapan City ranks first. With a population of 649,420, the weekly testing percentage is recorded at 242.86 percent. The latest positive rate is 0.26 percent. The positive rate in this region increased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Next is Kutai Kartanegara. The population in this region is recorded at 802,710. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly testing percentage is 175.85 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 0 percent, having decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Furthermore, the weekly testing percentage in Purwakarta is recorded at 154.33 percent, Banjarbaru City recorded 130 percent, and Tarakan City, with a population of 271,590, recorded a weekly testing percentage of 106.02 percent.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, there are 99 regencies/cities in Indonesia that actively report a higher daily weekly testing percentage than before. Meanwhile, 163 other regencies/cities recorded a lower weekly testing percentage compared to the previous week's testing.
