North Konawe is the regency with the highest number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases, at 10.6 per 100,000 population/week. The number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases in this regency has not improved, showing an increase compared to the previous week, which recorded 7.57 per 100,000 population/week.
The same condition occurred in Bau Bau City, which recorded 9.75 weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population/week. In this regency, the number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases is also higher than the previous week, which was 7.46 per 100,000 population/week. East Kolaka follows, with 5.59 weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population/week in this regency of Southeast Sulawesi province.
Kolaka and Central Buton are next, recording 5.08 and 4.28 weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population/week, respectively.
Nationally, the average number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases across the 34 provinces is currently on an upward trend compared to the previous week, which was 6.3 per 100,000 population/week.
