The goals were scored by Evan Florasta in the 65th minute, and two more by Mierza Firjatullah in the 71st and 90+2nd minutes.
This result propelled Indonesia to the top of the Group A standings with 6 points, securing the Garuda Muda squad's advancement to the 2024 AFF U-16 Cup semifinals.
Laos, previously at the top of the standings, dropped to second place.
Although Laos and Indonesia both have 6 points, the Garuda team has a superior goal difference with six goals scored and none conceded. Laos has scored five goals and conceded one.
Singapore is in third place with zero points, having scored one goal and conceded five in two matches.
They are tied with the Philippines, also on zero points, having scored no goals and conceded six.
Next, the Indonesian national team will play Laos in the third Group A matchday on Thursday (17/6/2024). This match will determine which team advances to the semifinals as group champion.
