As of Friday, December 31, 2021, East Kalimantan Province had achieved an 81.17% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 2.33 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 2.87 million people. The second dose vaccination rate reached 61.29% of the target.
By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 28,220 recipients. For the first dose, 28,220 people were vaccinated (140.14% of the target), and for the second dose, 136.26% of the target was achieved, or 38,450 people.
Public sector workers were targeted at 284,190 individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 371,010 individuals (130.55% of the target), and the second dose reached 120.81% of the target, with 343,330 doses administered.
The elderly target was 189,530 individuals. For the first dose, 109,660 individuals received the vaccine (57.86% of the target). The second dose reached 43.21% of the target, or 81,910 individuals.
The target for the vulnerable general public was 1.97 million individuals. For the first dose, 1.31 million doses were administered (74.96% of the target). The second dose reached 51.81% of the target, or 864,870 doses.
Another target group was adolescents aged 12-17 years. The target for this group was 397,460 individuals. For the first dose, 332,510 individuals were vaccinated (83.66% of the target). The second dose reached 69.14% of the target, with 274,800 doses administered.
