Some of the areas outside Java with the highest confirmed positive rates include Tarakan City, Palangkaraya City, and Pangkal Pinang City, with confirmed positive cases of 3.31 per 100,000 population/week, 2 per 100,000 population/week, and 1.84 per 100,000 population/week, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
