West Papua's Vaccination Coverage Reached 52.67% of the Target as of Thursday, December 30, 2021

As of Thursday, December 30, 2021, West Papua Province had achieved 52.67% coverage for the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This equates to 420,010 vaccinated individuals out of a target of 797,400. The second dose vaccination rate reached 32.79% of the target.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the COVID-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 8,564 individuals. For the first dose, 8,564 people were vaccinated (125.64% of the target), and for the second dose, 9,592 people were vaccinated (112% of the target).

For public sector workers, the target was 116,330 individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 83,470 individuals (71.76% of the target), and the second dose reached 69,970 individuals (60.15% of the target).

For the elderly, the target was 50,830 individuals. The first dose was administered to 14,050 individuals (27.64% of the target), while the second dose reached 8,447 individuals (16.62% of the target).

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 493,760 individuals. The first dose was administered to 244,950 individuals (51.94% of the target), while the second dose reached 131,050 individuals (28.67% of the target).

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 127,910 individuals. The first dose was administered to 55,260 individuals (43.2% of the target), while the second dose reached 31,860 individuals (24.91% of the target).
