37.79% of Indonesia's Population Has Received a COVID-19 Booster Vaccine

As of Friday, March 24, 2023, 68.61 million doses of COVID-19 booster vaccines have been administered in Indonesia. This represents 37.79% of the national vaccination target of 234.66 million doses. The daily increase in booster vaccinations nationwide yesterday was 994 doses.

West Java has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients nationally, with 15.46 million doses administered. Within West Java, Bogor Regency has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients, with 1.59 million doses. This is followed by Bandung Regency (1.1 million), Bekasi City (979,590), Bekasi Regency (967,340), Cianjur Regency (912,390), and Bandung City (896,740).

East Java is second with 9.35 million doses, with Surabaya City having the highest number of recipients in that province at 1.31 million doses.

Central Java is third with 8.55 million booster vaccine doses administered, followed by Jakarta, North Sumatra, and Banten with 5.34 million, 4.19 million, and 2.99 million doses respectively.
