Current Premier League Highest-Paid Players: Mostly Manchester United Players

The French media outlet, L'Equipe, has just released a list of the five highest-paid football players in the Premier League. Four of the five players are from Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo has the highest salary in the Premier League. The all-time top goalscorer receives a salary of £26.4 million (approximately Rp502 billion) per year.

Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne is second, with a salary of £20.4 million (Rp388 billion) per year. In third place is Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, earning £19.2 million (Rp365 billion) annually.

Two more Manchester United players occupy the fourth and fifth positions. Jadon Sancho receives £18 million per year, and Raphael Varane £15.6 million per year.

Manchester United's dominance in this list is unsurprising. Citing data from the CIES Football Observatory, Manchester United is the club with the highest expenditure over the past ten years.
