This number of active COVID-19 cases in Indonesia ranks seventh in the world. Indonesia's position dropped two places compared to August 2, 2021, when it was ranked fifth globally.
The United States still holds the first position with 6,223,361 active COVID-19 cases. The United Kingdom is in second place with 1,296,101 active cases.
Spain has 712,457 active COVID-19 cases. Following Spain is Brazil with 675,385 active cases.
Iran has 539,359 active COVID-19 cases. Russia is in sixth place with 534,279 active cases.
Meanwhile, France is below Indonesia with 420,871 active COVID-19 cases. India and Mexico follow with 394,919 and 390,088 active cases respectively.
To suppress the transmission of the coronavirus, the government urges the public to diligently implement the 3M health protocols: wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands with soap. The public is also encouraged to avoid crowds and reduce mobility.
