The five districts/cities with the highest agglomeration death rates due to Covid-19, exceeding 0.11 deaths per 100,000 population per week, are Palangkaraya, Solok, Ogan Ilir, Ngawi, and Malang, with respective rates of 0.33, 0.26, 0.22, 0.12, and 0.11 deaths per 100,000 population per week.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that the agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 has decreased in most districts/cities outside Java. Zero districts/cities recorded a higher daily agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 than previously, and one district/city recorded a lower rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration death rates due to Covid-19 include Palangkaraya, Solok, and Ogan Ilir, with respective rates of 0.33, 0.26, and 0.22 deaths per 100,000 population per week.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to curbing the spread of the coronavirus.
