The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded an average weekly hospital inpatient use in West Java of 2.63 patients, data updated as of Wednesday, November 23, 2022. This figure is lower than the national average, which currently stands at 2.96 patients per 100,000 population/week.
Cirebon City ranks first with the highest weekly hospital inpatient use at 9.35 patients per 100,000 population/week. The weekly hospital inpatient use in this city has not shown improvement, as it increased compared to the previous week, which recorded 8.73 patients per 100,000 population/week.
The same condition occurred in Sukabumi City, which recorded weekly hospital inpatient use of 7.54 patients per 100,000 population/week. In this city, weekly hospital inpatient use was also higher than the previous week, which was only 2.41 patients per 100,000 population/week. Next is Bandung City. This city in West Java Province recorded weekly hospital inpatient use of 7.03 patients per 100,000 population/week.
Purwakarta and Cimahi City followed, with recorded weekly hospital inpatient use of 6.14 patients per 100,000 population/week and 6.06 patients per 100,000 population/week, respectively.
Nationally, the average weekly hospital inpatient use across the 34 provinces is now showing a decrease compared to the previous week, which was 3.27 patients per 100,000 population/week.
