The latest data on COVID-19 patient recoveries in DKI Jakarta on Sunday (July 18th) recorded a new high of 11,860 people. Other provinces with the highest number of recovered COVID-19 patients are West Java, Central Java, East Java, and Yogyakarta Special Region. These four provinces averaged 2,798 cases.
To date, DKI Jakarta has recorded 746,310 positive cases, with 96,320 still undergoing treatment. This province ranks first in the number of cases.
West Java is in second place. West Java has recorded 516,590 COVID-19 cases, with 113,750 still undergoing treatment. In this region, the largest age group of COVID-19 sufferers is between 31-45 years old, followed by 19-30 years old. The smallest reported group is also between 19-30 years old. The number of reported recovered patients is 395,420. Patients are predominantly female, with 52% compared to 48% male. Furthermore, the number of COVID-19 deaths in this region has reached 7,421.
In Central Java, today's increase in positive cases is 11,860. The number of reported recovered patients is 249,000. Patients in this region are predominantly female, with 54% compared to 46% male. The number of COVID-19 deaths to date has reached 14,550.
East Java is fourth in the number of recovered patients and the total number of confirmed positive cases. Currently, East Java has recorded 239,160 cases, with 41,560 still undergoing treatment. In this region, the largest age group of COVID-19 sufferers is between 46-59 years old, followed by 31-45 years old. The smallest reported group is between 31-45 years old. The number of reported recovered patients is 181,410. The majority of patients are female, with 53%, while the percentage of males is 47%. Furthermore, the number of COVID-19 deaths in this region to date has reached 16,200.
The Yogyakarta Special Region is in fifth place. The Yogyakarta Special Region has recorded 92,080 COVID-19 cases, with 25,910 still undergoing treatment.
