As of Saturday, August 13, 2022, South Sumatra Province has achieved an 84.41% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 6.08 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 7.2 million people. The second dose vaccination rate has reached 67.47% of the target.
By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 49,010 recipients. For the first dose, 49,010 people were vaccinated (126% of the target), and for the second dose, 122.58% of the target was achieved, or 60,080 people.
For public sector workers, the target was 439,480 people. The first dose vaccination reached 509,190 people (115.86% of the target), and the second dose reached 107.08%, with 470,580 doses administered.
For the elderly, the target was 597,070 people. The first dose was administered to 451,980 people (75.7% of the target). The second dose reached 57.04%, or 340,570 people.
For the vulnerable general population, the target was 4.37 million people. For the first dose, 3.44 million people were vaccinated (79.53% of the target). The second dose reached 61.49%, or 2.66 million people.
For adolescents aged 12-17, the target was 846,680 people. The first dose was administered to 817,860 people (96.6% of the target). The second dose reached 81.17%, with 687,240 doses administered.
