Vaccination Update: 2.98 Percent of the Population in Palu City Have Received Their Third Dose (Wednesday, February 9, 2022)

The Indonesian government began promoting the third dose of COVID-19 vaccination nationwide starting January 2022. As of Wednesday, February 9, 2022, the highest third-dose vaccination rate in Central Sulawesi is in Palu City, reaching 2.98 percent.

Previously, the first dose vaccination rate in Palu City reached 93.72 percent, and the second dose reached 66.55 percent. A total of 433,380 doses have been administered in this region, exceeding the target of 265,460 vaccine recipients.

Following these are Poso Regency with a third-dose vaccination rate of 1.24 percent, Toli Toli Regency with 1.16 percent, and Banggai Regency with 1.15 percent.

Nationally, the third-dose vaccination rate in Indonesia currently stands at 2.9 percent, a 0.04 percent increase from the previous day.

Based on the latest data from the Ministry of Health's dashboard, out of a target of 208.27 million vaccine recipients, the national vaccination rate for the first dose has reached 89.93 percent and the second dose 63.7 percent.
