The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least one regency/city has a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 2.17 percent. This average is higher than last week's 2.08 percent, based on data from Sunday, March 12, 2023.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 37.5 percent are Fakfak, Bima, Muna, Balangan, and Manggarai Timur, with values of 100 percent, 57.14 percent, 52.5 percent, 50 percent, and 37.5 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than before was recorded in 19 regencies/cities, while 23 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Bima, and Muna, with BORs of 100 percent, 57.14 percent, and 52.5 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
