A report from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government shows that 5,000 Neighborhood Units (RT) were in Covid-19 high-risk zones in DKI Jakarta during the period of August 1-7, 2022. The details are: 28 RTs in the red zone, 255 RTs in the orange zone, and 4,717 RTs in the yellow zone.
South Jakarta dominated the number of RTs in Covid-19 high-risk zones in the capital city, with 1,298 RTs. This includes 4 RTs in the red zone, 57 RTs in the orange zone, and 1,237 in the yellow zone.
West Jakarta had 1,227 RTs in Covid-19 high-risk zones. The details are: 10 RTs in the red zone, 96 RTs in the orange zone, and 1,121 RTs in the yellow zone.
East Jakarta had 967 RTs in Covid-19 high-risk zones, with a total of 2 RTs in the red zone, 19 RTs in the orange zone, and 946 RTs in the yellow zone.
North Jakarta had 875 RTs in Covid-19 high-risk zones, namely 10 RTs in the red zone, 65 RTs in the orange zone, and 800 RTs in the yellow zone.
Central Jakarta had 631 RTs in Covid-19 high-risk zones, namely 2 RTs in the red zone, 18 RTs in the orange zone, and 611 RTs in the yellow zone.
Meanwhile, the Thousand Islands only had 2 RTs in the yellow zone.
DKI Jakarta is the province with the highest number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia, reaching 1.33 million cases, or approximately 21.4% of the national total of 6.21 million Covid-19 cases.
Therefore, the public is urged to diligently implement the 3M health protocols: wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands with soap. In addition, the public is encouraged to get booster vaccinations to prevent severe Covid-19 infection.
