Pematangsiantar City ranks first with the highest number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases at 1.14 per 100,000 people per week. The number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in this city shows no improvement, as it has increased compared to the previous week, which reported zero weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases.
The same condition occurs in North Tapanuli, which recorded 0.73 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people. In this city, the number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases is also higher than the previous week, which was only 0.49 per 100,000 people per week. Next is Tanjung Balai City. This city in North Sumatra province recorded 0.54 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people per week.
Toba Samosir and Padangsidimpuan City follow, with recorded weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases of 0.54 and 0.42 per 100,000 people per week, respectively.
