Banjarmasin City ranked first with the highest number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases at 57.39 per 100,000 population/week. The number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in this city shows no improvement, as it increased compared to the previous week, which recorded 48.78 per 100,000 population/week.
The same condition occurred in Banjarbaru City, which recorded 31.77 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population/week. In this city, the number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases is also higher than the previous week, which was only 30.35 per 100,000 population/week. Next is Banjar City. This city in South Kalimantan Province recorded 13.14 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population/week.
Tanah Laut and Hulu Sungai Tengah followed, recording 7.67 and 6.95 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population/week, respectively.
Nationally, the average number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases across the 34 provinces is currently on an upward trend compared to the previous week, which was only 4.58 per 100,000 population/week.
