Top 10 Regencies/Cities with the Highest National COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage (Thursday, March 3, 2022)

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded that 278 regencies/cities had first-dose vaccination coverage above the national average, which currently stands at 86.85 percent (data as of Thursday, March 3, 2022).

The top five regencies/cities with first-dose vaccination coverage exceeding 158.11 percent are Central Jakarta, Yogyakarta City, South Jakarta, Denpasar City, and Mojokerto City, with respective values of 261.29 percent, 219.29 percent, 181.34 percent, 164.82 percent, and 158.11 percent.

A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that first-dose vaccination coverage in most regencies/cities outside Java is increasing. A daily increase in first-dose vaccination coverage compared to previous days was recorded in 189 regencies/cities.

Some of the areas outside Java with the highest first-dose vaccination coverage include Denpasar City, Metro City, and Central Halmahera, with respective first-dose vaccination coverage rates of 164.82 percent, 144.36 percent, and 139.57 percent.

The government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
