The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least one regency/city has a Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR) above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 7.99 percent. This average is higher than last week's 6.77 percent, based on data from Thursday, November 10, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BORs exceeding 45.83 percent are Fakfak, Soppeng, East Sumba, Palembang City, and Toli-Toli, with values of 100 percent, 53.85 percent, 49.33 percent, 46.59 percent, and 45.83 percent, respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java. 98 regencies/cities recorded a higher daily BOR than before, while 68 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Soppeng, and East Sumba, with BORs of 100 percent, 53.85 percent, and 49.33 percent, respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
