By target group, the vaccination details to combat the COVID-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 20,440 individuals. For the first dose, 20,440 people were vaccinated (128.64 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 119.96 percent of the target was achieved (13,650 individuals).
For public sector workers, the target was 247,010 individuals. The first dose was administered to 188,790 individuals (76.43 percent of the target), and the second dose to 161,080 individuals (65.21 percent of the target).
For the elderly, the target was 157,300 individuals. The first dose was administered to 86,710 individuals (55.13 percent of the target), and the second dose to 36,210 individuals (23.02 percent of the target).
For the vulnerable general population, the target was 1.28 million individuals. The first dose was administered to 913,970 individuals (72.88 percent of the target), and the second dose to 442,640 individuals (35.93 percent of the target).
For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 296,410 individuals. The first dose was administered to 241,900 individuals (81.61 percent of the target), and the second dose to 134,810 individuals (45.48 percent of the target).
