Top 10 Regencies/Cities with the Highest National Elderly Vaccination Rates (Monday, November 28, 2022)

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 279 regencies/cities with elderly vaccination coverage above the national average, currently recorded at 61.3 percent as of Monday, November 28, 2022.

The top five regencies/cities with elderly vaccination rates exceeding 120.37 percent are Padang Panjang City (290.12 percent), Solok City (183.82 percent), South Jakarta City (128.62 percent), Garut (121.53 percent), and Yogyakarta City (120.37 percent).

A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in elderly vaccination in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily increase in elderly vaccination rates compared to previous days was recorded in 313 regencies/cities, while two regencies/cities recorded lower elderly vaccination rates.

Areas outside Java with the highest elderly vaccination rates include Padang Panjang City (290.12 percent), Solok City (183.82 percent), and Aceh Singkil (117.82 percent).

Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
