The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reported that the hotel occupancy rate (TPK) for star-rated hotels was at 38.54% in February 2022.

The highest occupancy rate was recorded in East Kalimantan at 58.90 percent, followed by North Kalimantan at 48.94% and South Sumatra at 48.69%.

Meanwhile, Bali recorded the lowest occupancy rate at 14.86%.

The occupancy rate of star-rated hotels in February 2022 decreased by 3.89 points compared to January 2022, as shown in the graph.

The largest decrease in occupancy rate was recorded in Yogyakarta Special Region at 14.90 points, followed by West Java which decreased by 7.95 points, and Jakarta which decreased by 6.21 points.

However, some provinces experienced an increase in occupancy rate compared to the previous month.

The largest increase in occupancy rate was recorded in Aceh at 10.61 points, followed by West Sulawesi which increased by 9.80 points, and North Maluku which increased by 8.85 points.
