The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded that 211 regencies/cities had a seven-day aglomeration positivity rate above the national average, currently recorded at 14.02 percent (data as of Friday, November 25, 2022).
The top five regencies/cities with a seven-day positivity rate exceeding 53.19 percent are Gayo Lues, Malinau, North Morowali, Kepahiang, and North Halmahera, with values of 61.54 percent, 56 percent, 55.26 percent, 53.33 percent, and 53.19 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the seven-day positivity rate in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily seven-day positivity rate higher than the previous day was recorded in 177 regencies/cities, while 146 regencies/cities recorded a lower seven-day positivity rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest seven-day positivity rates include Gayo Lues, Malinau, and North Morowali, with seven-day positivity rates of 61.54 percent, 56 percent, and 55.26 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
