Several districts/cities in Aceh province still record relatively low second-dose vaccination rates compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include North Aceh Regency, Bireuen Regency, and South Aceh Regency.
As of yesterday, these three regions have only completed 666,980 second doses out of the targeted 976,250 vaccine recipients in their vaccination program.
North Aceh Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination rate in this region has reached 68.02 percent, the lowest among the other 23 districts/cities. The first dose has reached 93.17 percent, or 777,190 vaccine recipients.
This district/city's vaccination program targets 458,610 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination rate last week in North Aceh was 258 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 25,923 doses.
Next is Bireuen Regency. For the second dose, this region has the second-lowest rate. With a target of 330,000 vaccine recipients, 68.37 percent or 227,660 recipients have been vaccinated.
The first dose has reached 95 percent, or 315,200 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination rate last week in Bireuen was 419 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 13,140 doses.
Lastly, South Aceh Regency is ranked third. With a target of 184,650 vaccine recipients, 68.98 percent or 127,370 recipients have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination rate last week in South Aceh was 156 participants. The currently available vaccine stock is 12,960 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination in Aceh has reached 89.71 percent, or 4.14 million vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination has reached 70.69 percent, covering 3.26 million vaccine recipients.
