The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least one regency/city has a Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR) above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 2.24 percent. This average is up from last week's 2.19 percent, based on data from Thursday, February 16, 2023.
The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 42.3 percent, are Fakfak, Bima, Muna, Balangan, and Rokan Hilir, with values of 100 percent, 57.14 percent, 52.5 percent, 50 percent, and 42.3 percent respectively.
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 29 regencies/cities, while 19 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Bima, and Muna, with BORs of 100 percent, 57.14 percent, and 52.5 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
