Several districts/cities in North Sumatra province still record quite low second-dose vaccination rates compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Padang Lawas Regency, North Labuhanbatu Regency, and Labuhanbatu Regency.
As of today, in the vaccination program, these three regencies have only completed 507,880 second doses out of the expected target of 857,480 vaccine recipients.
Padang Lawas Regency is ranked first (lowest). As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region has reached 56.43%. This is the lowest compared to the other 33 districts/cities. As for the first dose, 91.9% has been achieved today, or 293,510 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this regency targets 192,390 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Padang Lawas was None. The current vaccine stock is 46,218 doses.
Next is North Labuhanbatu Regency. For the second dose, this area is the second lowest. With a target of 288,620 vaccine recipients, 59.85% or 172,750 recipients have been vaccinated.
The first dose achievement is recorded at 90.33%, or 447,270 vaccine recipients.
Then there is Labuhanbatu Regency in third place. With a target of 376,480 vaccine recipients, 60.18% or 226,580 recipients have received the second dose.
At the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination in North Sumatra has reached 92.63%, or 10.58 million vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination has reached 73.18%, covering 8.36 million vaccine recipients.
