The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 128 districts/cities with an agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 exceeding the national average, currently recorded at 0.11 deaths per 100,000 population per week, data as of Monday, November 28, 2022.
The five districts/cities with the highest agglomeration death rates due to Covid-19, exceeding 1.4 deaths per 100,000 population per week, are Buton Tengah (2.14 deaths per 100,000 population per week), Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (2.03 deaths per 100,000 population per week), Pakpak Bharat (1.9 deaths per 100,000 population per week), Tomohon City (1.81 deaths per 100,000 population per week), and Payakumbuh City (1.4 deaths per 100,000 population per week).
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 in most districts/cities outside Java. Daily agglomeration death rates due to Covid-19 higher than previous days were recorded in 25 districts/cities, while 10 districts/cities recorded lower agglomeration death rates due to Covid-19.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration death rates due to Covid-19 include Buton Tengah (2.14 deaths per 100,000 population per week), Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (2.03 deaths per 100,000 population per week), and Pakpak Bharat (1.9 deaths per 100,000 population per week).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
