Indonesia recorded the highest increase in COVID-19 deaths in Asia, with weekly growth reaching 174 percent. Worldometer recorded 137 deaths in the country, a 16.1 percent increase compared to the previous day.
Next is Hong Kong, which recorded 33.33 percent more deaths compared to the previous week. Daily data shows a 3.45% decrease in deaths compared to the previous day. Following this, South Korea recorded 63 deaths (up 31.25%), Japan with 162 deaths (up 13.29%), and India with 186 deaths (up 3.91%).
