The number of people in South Sulawesi who have received their first dose of the vaccine is 4.01 million.

As of Thursday, December 16, 2021, South Sulawesi Province had achieved a 56.78% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 4.01 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 7.06 million people. The second dose vaccination rate reached 35.77% of the target.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 58,860 recipients. For the first dose, 58,860 people were vaccinated (126.3% of the target), and for the second dose, 118.67% or 69,850 people were vaccinated.

For public sector workers, the target was 694,480 people. The first dose vaccination reached 691,020 people (99.5% of the target), and the second dose reached 86.8%, or 602,820 people.

For the elderly, the target was 753,920 people. The first dose was administered to 255,710 people (33.92% of the target). The second dose reached only 18.54%, or 139,770 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 4.57 million people. The first dose was administered to 2.31 million people (50.84% of the target). The second dose reached only 27.97%, or 1.26 million people.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 978,890 people. The first dose was administered to 661,450 people (67.57% of the target). The second dose reached only 44.28%, or 433,410 people.
