97.8% of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccinations have been administered in Riau.

As of Wednesday, April 20, 2022, Riau Province has achieved a 97.8% vaccination rate for the first dose, covering 4.73 million of the 4.84 million targeted individuals. The second dose vaccination rate reached 77.21% of the target as of the previous day.

Vaccination details by target group to combat the Covid-19 virus in Riau Province are as follows: The healthcare worker group, with a target of 32,920 individuals, achieved 137.78% (32,920 individuals) for the first dose and 133.91% (44,090 individuals) for the second dose.

For public service workers, with a target of 349,420 individuals, the first dose reached 113.89% (397,960 individuals), and the second dose reached 105.37% (368,180 individuals).

The elderly group, with a target of 322,470 individuals, achieved a 70.79% vaccination rate (228,260 individuals) for the first dose and 53.28% (171,810 individuals) for the second dose.

The vulnerable general public, with a target of 3.45 million individuals, achieved an 82.03% vaccination rate (2.77 million individuals) for the first dose and 64.44% (2.17 million individuals) for the second dose.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 684,190 individuals, the first dose reached 100.43% (687,140 individuals), while the second dose reached 83.35% (570,270 individuals).
