Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 112,300 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 112,300 people (161.99 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 152.7 percent or 171,480 people were vaccinated.
Public sector workers had a target of 1.98 million people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 2.79 million people (140.6 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 117.23 percent, or 2.32 million people.
For the elderly, the target was 761,280 people. For the first dose, it was administered to 720,230 people (94.61 percent of the target). The second dose reached 83.91 percent, or 638,750 people.
For the vulnerable general public, the target was 4.54 million people. For the first dose, vaccination was reportedly administered to 6.34 million people (144.67 percent of the target). The second dose reached 106.32 percent, or 4.61 million people.
For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 1 million people. For the first dose, 887,660 people were vaccinated (88.76 percent of the target). The second dose reached 76.52 percent, or 765,340 people.
