A third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, also known as a booster shot, was a mandatory requirement for travelers during Idul Fitri 2022. According to data from the Ministry of Health, as of 6 PM WIB on April 18, 2022, 31.54 million people in Indonesia had received a booster shot.
This figure represents 15.15% of the national Covid-19 vaccination target. The national target for Covid-19 vaccination is 208.26 million people.
By province, West Java still has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients nationally, reaching 6.81 million people.
Bogor Regency has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients in West Java, reaching 751,190 people. Bekasi Regency and Bandung City follow with 594,630 and 535,420 booster vaccine recipients, respectively.
Central Java is in second place with 4.27 million booster vaccine recipients. Semarang City has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients in this province, reaching 559,220 people.
East Java follows in third place with a total of 4.07 million people who have received the booster vaccine. This is followed by DKI Jakarta and North Sumatra with 3.28 million and 1.766 million booster vaccine recipients, respectively.
