76.13% of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination has been achieved in Central Sulawesi.

As of Wednesday, January 19, 2022, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Central Sulawesi province reached 76.13 percent. This equates to 1.63 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 2.14 million people. The second dose vaccination coverage reached 42.6 percent of the target.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 24,600 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 24,600 people (111.18 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 104.27 percent or 14,810 people were vaccinated.

For public sector workers, the target was 225,260 people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 179,640 people (79.75 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 69.72 percent, or 157,040 people.

For the elderly, the target was 196,630 people. For the first dose, 99,500 people were vaccinated (50.6 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 25.52 percent, or 50,180 people, were vaccinated.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 1.37 million people. For the first dose, vaccination was reportedly given to 1.03 million people (78.88 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 39.57 percent, or 494,760 people, were vaccinated.

Another target group was adolescents aged 12-17 years. The target in this region was 314,610 people. For the first dose, 232,090 people were vaccinated (73.77 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 42.13 percent, or 132,530 people, were vaccinated.
