Top 10 Regencies/Cities with the Highest National Tracing Rates (Friday, June 17, 2022)

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded that 71 regencies/cities had weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, which currently stands at 2.05 percent as of Friday, June 17, 2022.

The top five regencies/cities with tracing rates exceeding 26 percent are Metro City, South Hulu Sungai, Cianjur, Bondowoso, and Medan City, with values of 42 percent, 39 percent, 27.33 percent, 26 percent, and 26 percent respectively.

A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily tracing rate higher than before was recorded in 13 regencies/cities, while nine regencies/cities recorded lower tracing rates.

Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Metro City, South Hulu Sungai, and Medan City, with tracing rates of 42 percent, 39 percent, and 26 percent respectively.

Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
